100 Thousand From Affin Islamic Bank for Endowment Fund UMP

Affin Islamic Bank donated 100 thousand for Universiti Malaysia Pahang Endowment Fund, a fund that has been established to ensure the future growth of the university.

The donation was given by Chief Executive Officer of Affin Islamic Bank, Kamarul Ariffin Mohd. Jamil to UMP Vice Chancellor, Professor Dato'Dr. Daing Nasir Ibrahim in an event that took place in Chancellery Banquet Room, on 7 June 2012.

Besides zakat donation, Affin Islamic also intended to expand the use of zakat donation for charitable contract and waqaf, to be use in education sector as implemented in other Islamic country including Turkey.
