RM2 Campaign for Ihya Ramadan Fund

UMP has launched Ihya Ramadan Fund on 17 May 2016 in conjunction with celebrating the holy month of Ramadan.

RM2 Campaign for Ihya Ramadan Fund has been launched to inculcate the culture of donating and sponsoring among the university community. Although it is not that much, but it’s the least that can be done to help those in need in the fasting month of Ramadhan.

Donation for Ihya Ramadan Fund can be done through salary deduction,contribution amongst department or through any donation boxes that has been put in a mosque. The money donated will be used to prepare food for breaking fast for less fortunate UMP students and also to those in need.

UMP Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dato’ Dr. Daing Nasir Ibrahim hand over RM90,000 from MyGift Fund to PIMPIN for the preparation of iftar throughout this Ramadhan.

In the meantime, PIMPIN has scheduled various activites to be done in this month of Ramadhan such as Ramadan Festival, Sahur activities, Iftar Jamaie and moreh. Kayuhan Mesra Rakyat, Bubur Lambuk with Kuala Pahang community, Anda Tanya Ustaz Jawab: “Ramadhan? Wow!” and humanity program such as Jejak Asnaf dan Singgah Sahur @SOGO also has been done to enliven the holy month of Ramadhan.

UMP welcomes contributions from all parties, including staffs, students, alumni individuals and corporate agencies, whether local or international in supporting the culture of donation by visiting UMP website at http://www.ump.edu.my.
